Morpheus8

Morphues8 is a fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be remodeled to reveal a more radiant youthful appearance.

Around the age of 25, collagen production begins to decline, causing crepe skin and laxity to appear on patients faster than they realize, leaving them with hollows, jowls, and saggy skin, giving them the aged and tired appearance.

offers a unique, minimally invasive, and safe treatment to treat deep layers of skin and tissue to remodel collagen on the face and body to create tighter, more youthful skin. Morpheus8 is a micro-needling device that uses gold platted needles, making it safe for all skin types, to transmit high radio frequency, stimulating and remodeling collagen production to firm and tighten the skin.

Depending on your Morpheus8 treatment regime you can expect to have between 1-3 sessions.

What is Morpheus Skin Tightening?

Morpheus is a specially designed treatment regimen that helps to restore your skin and eliminate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This technology utilizes microneedling and radiofrequency energies to help recontour your Face and stimulate collagen production from cells that lie deeper in your tissue. Morpheus is a great approach because the increased collagen production can last far longer than simple dermal fillers and allows for your results to continue to improve over the course of a few weeks.

Microneedling helps to stimulate the surface of the skin to produce the collagen, while the radiofrequency energy targets the underlying tissues. This allows the deeper layers of the skin to change their organization that helps with the anti-aging process.

Morpheus does almost no damage to the surface of the skin, so the potential of infection is much lower than other treatment options. It also has been proven to leave a very uniform effect across the skin, so you do not have to worry that different parts of your Face will have more dramatic improvement than other areas. Your face will look naturally young and radiant.

What Areas Can Be Treated?

Morpheus can be used on an area of the body that exhibits issues with wrinkles, or even acne scarring. While facial treatments are the most popular, a number of patients also have treatments applied to their neck, abdomen, and hands.

How Many Sessions Are Required?

The number of sessions that are required for each patient can vary based on the number of areas that they are having treated, the size, or the current condition of their skin and wrinkles. However, most patients only need between one and three treatments to realize the full potential of this approach.

In addition to a Morpheus treatment, we also generally recommend that patients consider PRP to get the best results possible. If you are interested, talk to our friendly staff today!

What to Expect After Treatment

Morpheus requires minimal downtime, so you are able to return to your normal activities almost immediately. However, talk with your doctor, because individual recommendations can vary.

We do ask that patients wait between 1-2 days before applying makeup to the treated areas. Makeup can hinder your body’s ability to heal properly and can introduce the infection to a treated area. Many patients will notice that they have some microlesions for a few days and redness that lasts for around a week before they have completely healed.

It is important to note that the microlesions do not indicate areas that have received more treatment or that will look different from any other area. These heal within a few days, and your skin will generally still look even and uniform.

While you are healing, we recommend that patients stay out of direct sunlight. We also recommend that once you have healed, you regularly apply a high-quality sunblock. Effective use of sunscreen can help to reduce the future potential for skin cancer and has also been shown to reduce wrinkles over time.
